New to this forum and my RT , so I will start with a big Hello
I understand that this isn't an isolated issue from reading the forums.
I have no problem with opening the panniers off the bike and if I release the pannier and lift it slightly whilst on the bike it opens.
I understand the mechanism with the remote locking and this is working as it should with the plunger going up and down on the frame mount. It seems though the button on the pannier is being depressed enough to lock. The button on the pannier seems to be moving freely and not sticking.
Having understood the mechanisms involved I have been able to on occasion open the panniers when on the bike but it is 50/50 at best
So after that intro my question is, is it just. knack to how the pnniers are located on the frame, if so any tips ? If not any other solutions / workarounds ?
