RT Glove Box accessory

I thought the glove box was a perfect place for my J&M intercom connected to the 660 GPS. I use a touratech handlebar bag for the small things( gloves, garage door opener, tire gauge, flashlight, etc

At the very bottom of the glove box is a rubber plug about 2" square. The box does not need to come off to do the install. All I did was remove the right upper (4 screws)and the right lower, then snap the air duct out of the way.

I cut a slot in the rubber and bunched all wires through that...no need to drill any plastic.

Went to the local electronics store and bought 2 - 6 pin jacks and 2- 6 pin plugs with 12 feet of 6 element wire to make the leads for the rider and passenger. The passenger lead comes out from under the seat at the left rear next to her accessory port. The rider lead is velcroed just left of the ignition key.

I did wire it in 12V using an eastern beaver 3cs and the 12V adapter for the integratr 4 on a switched circuit

Amazing quality for an $85 unit and a total install cost of $165.
