For those who have the updated model.
Cleaned my bike yesterday and noticed the bottom light loose.
you can take the play out by adjusting the knob, only trouble is that the headlight is then set to high.
Setting the light where it should be causes it to rattle like a pig.
Has anybody checked the light on there bike for play.?

My 05 is that way with quite a lot of play in the adjuster. I managed to put a small but stiff spring between the adjuster and the housing to keep it from moving. Works great.

 

I noticed the same thing on my '05 on the weekend after installing the GPS and then having a little poke around under the front.
Mine goes in for its 20,000km service in a month or so, so I'll get the dealer to check it out. Must be a loose nut somewhere, but I couldn't feel the connecting points with my fingers to try to tighten it and didn't want to fiddle with the adjuster.
