Hi my 2001 has an alarm fob and too "dongles" that you place over the led light ?
all my seem to do is make the led flash slightly faster but what do they do and how do you do it ?

IIRC they are just another way to deactivate the alarm instead of the remote.

 

On my '01, it takes a little fiddling, but if you cover the LED at just the right angle for a few seconds, it will deactivate the alarm and immobilizer just as if you had pushed the FOB button.

 

I think I need to practice my fiddling !
