Does anyone with a R1250RT have any experience at higher elevations. I am planning a trip from Tennessee to Washington State and was wondering how my bike would handle crossing the Rockies.
Anything with ride by wire throttle is capable of compensating for altitude. It was different in the past mostly because carburettor jets used for sea level were not right for altitude over 1000 metres and higher. The ECU in our bikes is more than capable of keeping the mixture within spec no matter where you take the bike.was wondering how my bike would handle crossing the Rockies.
