Has anyone done a comparison on these? I have the GarminXT as an added extra but its annoying me with its weird routing. Maybe after many years of Garmin its time to get divorced. Not a single trip (even short ones) doesn't have some issue.

Can't help with the comparison but I can pass on about 6 months of Carpuride 702 experience. in one word: faultless. The only problem I have is that it won't fit in portrait orientation above the TFT on my RT. That would be the best way to be used so you can see the most ahead of you. If you mount it somewhere else however...
I don't know. Mine didn't come with that as the 1250 RT does not have GPS prep because of the TFT.
Made my own bracket and bolted it. That's it.
