I had a brand new 2730 that clouded up every time it was exposed to direct sunlight. I returned it to Garmin and they sent me a new one. It did the same thing the very first time it was in direct sunlight. I emailed Garmin a 'nasty gram' and they offered to swap the 2730 for a 2820. They are aware of the problem with the 2730 and told me the screen in the 2820 is a different design and was improved to stop the clouding problem they'd had with the 2730.

The 2820 seems fine so far... no clouding at all.
