.... aka hschisler. Wow, sure hope we're not trying to light them candles underwater, Howard. What a day for your once-a-year celebration.

And we hope things are well for you and your family, Howard.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

BTW after following an LT & a GTL a few weeks ago I'll admit that the GTL is fatter in the ass then the LT is. :histerica

Hey gents,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Nice to hear from you!

There's been no chance for a ride here recently. It's been cold and rainy for 3-4 days straight now - some of that was before Hurricane Sandy, and then the last 2 days was the tail end of it. With a day or so of strong winds behind us we are counting ourselves lucky: we were never in any real danger, as so many people were on the east coast, and we won't even talk about the devastation along the east coast. (I'm still wanting to hear from Rob Van Brunt on Long Island...) We did not lose power, probably because I filled up several five-gallon cans ahead of the storm, for use in the generator. :)

You all take care out there. Once temps get above freezing at night (in a couple of days) I'll return to commuting on the LT and the usual weekend day trip here or there.

I was down at the barn just a bit ago to clean the bug guts off the LT's windscreen, so I checked out the seal. All is well, at least from the outside. I should have pulled the boot back like you showed me. I'll check that out soon.

Thanks.
