Hi all;

I am starting to look for a spare FD, just in case I need one later on. I have heard there is not to many spares at dealers so I am looking for one from a triked out bike with little to no millage. I live in Quebec, Canada so I assume there will be a higher shipping cost if I find one in the US.

I have a 2005 K 1200 LT and was wondering if a 2006 or 2009 would fit the 2005.
( I recently lost a deal on a 2007 recently triked out) Purchased by the brother of the guy who triked his bike.

Where would be the best place to start looking?? Trike dealers?

That is a good place to start. That only leaves one source for LT FD from trike conversions though: Hannigan Motorsports Good luck on your quest.

A 2006 or 2009 FD will fit your 2005 just fine. There are only two versions of the LT final drive. There's one for 1999 thru 2001 bikes, then another for 2002-2009. The earlier final drives are even harder to find.

Good idea to find and keep a spare!

This is really a great price. I would not hesitate if I was in need of another FD. I bought a good used one last summer for $350 and that was already a good price.
