Now that we've gotten some rain down here in the Hill Country, the stupid butterflies have started coming out. I figured my filter was nasty just judging by all the bugs on my windshield.

I put a mesh screen over my intake to prevent that.

Wow, never seen a filter like that.. then again, you DO get a lot of bugs in the Little 'ol State of Texas every once in a while! I change my air filter (I don't live in a dusty environment) every 12K, and it's never really looked all that bad...

I think a GT intake is way different then a LT intake.

Still a good reminder, but at 14,000 mine looked as new.

Holy cow! That filter is ALIVE!

I guess, everything is bigger in Texas.
