I've had my 99 K1200LT for the last three years and since just short of 98,000 Kms. Today I passed the 160,000 kms (100K miles) mark.
I use the bike for a 150 km commute three times a week but, city traffic is not kind to a large comfy bike and I'm actually considering getting a 250cc sports bike as a daily substitute.

From what I've seen, the LT is up for huge mileages, and my 100K miles are just breaking her in!

What is your current mileage?

80k + miles, and I just bought at 2011 RT because of my new commute (17+ miles in the mean Los Angeles streets:cool:). The LT will be up for sale in a few days. I hope the RT will work well both as a commuter bike and for long Summer trips.

I've not yet replaced the clutch but the FD has been done at around 120,000 Kms.

'05 K1200LT

191,899 miles.

Clutch replaced twice: 1) @ 30K 2) @ 130K

Final drive: One failure at 188K

Never had to adjust the valves, no transmission trouble. Burns no oil.

First 98K as a solo bike, last 100K with an '09 Hannigan LT sidecar attached.

Around 80K on an 05 LT. No major problems, but will need a clutch soon.

'05 with 65,000 miles. Just did clutch only due to rear main seal leaking. Only other repair has been the fork seals. What's with the seals?

Just bought an 2005 K1200LT with 25 k on it. previous owner had only put 2k on it and sold it because he was not riding it enough. Bought in Sept. has 30 K on it and plan on putting a lot more on it. Great bike rides like a dream! I love it!!

2009 LT/Hannigan conversion with 38,000 miles. Had the clutch done at 25,000 but otherwise no mechanical issues.

Had to get the OEM radio repaired, but I guess that's a pretty common issue.
