What would you consider the TOP TWO aftermarket upgrades to your LT, and why?

For me:

1) HID lights... lights up the night!

2) EBC rear brake rotor...stops on a dime!

2) Tire (air) monitor. I installed a Smarttire system. I loved it! (K1600 comes with it)

So far I'd say HID. But I'm still building - installing ****-o-pegs right now so that might rank up there too..... Also putting on Starcom1 intercom and Zumo 660 so i'll have a far bit to assess...!!

HID would be the best for day & night riding. 2nd would be TPMS...got the idea off the author of this thread.

floorboards, makes it so much easier to stop and start
and purple springs.

Other than that any mod is probably for the better

Only 2?... I'd have to break it into categories..

Safety:
1) HID upgrade & motolights... immediate difference was cars gave me more space instead of pulling out in front of me.
2) Autocom comms w. B/tooth module... easy & constant communication with whoever is on the back (my lady or one of my sons) and by phone

Comfort:
1) Rick Mayer recovered seat, go the distance without numb-bum
2) Grip puppies and throttle rocker OR Z-technik Vstream windshield OR MOPs for long distance

Performance:
1) Wilbers shocks f&r... what a difference
2) not really an upgrade but... fuel.. stay away from ethanol additive if possible, get the highest octane you can.

Fun stuff:
1) A decent GPS (Garmin 500/550) at the moment
2) GoPro for capturing the other f'wits on the road

#1 hands down is the HID upgrade. #1.5 The Hella FF50 driving lights mounted under the mirrors.

#2 The Rick Meyers leather front and rear seats I got from a brother who was upgrading to a Russel. He saved $500 bbecause I gave him my factory seats to have recovered and I got the pair of leather seats for a hundred bucks. Not even the same ballgame anymore!

Honorable mention: grip puppies :)
