I have a:

2009 R1200RT w/ handle bar risers, lowered foot pedals, saddle bag protectors (& new replacement covers if & when I want to sell), sargent heated seat, PIAA front lights, Ztech windscreen, BMW auxiliary tail light, Ztech engine protection bars with illiumworks highway pegs...

It is extraordinarily comfortable to ride and only has cal 15K miles.

Will I really NEED:

A new 2013 R1200RT?

Only if you want a little more power and cruise control switches that apparently are made to fail from what I have read. If your 09 had a low seat I would advise you to sell it to me!

Yah, I have that too, as I am height challenged! (I blame my Mother for not growing my legs longer before I hit the earth!)

I think the only thing you will nead now is a full tank of gas and $'s to keep it full as you will love riding the RT and if you have the time you should put on lots of miles. You will also love those Ilium pegs on the Ztecnic engine guards. I have that set up, looks good, works very well, and the pegs are super comfortable since they rotate to whatever angle you want to keep your feet at.

Can someone confirm that the correct Ilium Works part number to fit the Ztechnik guard is the 19-200? That's what I'm gleaning from Ilium's website, but just wanted to confirm with any of you who have installed these pegs.

thanks,

That is the part number that is on my sales slip. $235.00 for the set. I got mine from Sierra BMW, but I am sure there are others, I think I got the best price for the Ztechnic bars from them and the shipping to Canada was better, but lots of dealers, or direct from Ilium I think.
