'06 LT with Voice II

When the bike sits out, (like at work), and gets wet from the rain, sometimes the radio goes on the blink. When the bike is sitting still, everything is OK. But, as soon as I start rolling, a clicking noise starts and gets faster as my speed picks up, to the point where it is a solid noise. As soon as I stop, the noise goes away. It is NOT associated with engine speed, but is only associated with bike speed.

My guess is that it has something to do with the automatic volume adjustment mechanism that raises the volume as the bike's speed increases. when everything dries out, it goes back to normal.

Has any had any experience with this?

Most likely the seals on the buttons have failed and moisture is seeping in around them. Usually the cracks are visible if you look closely at the rubber. Eventually the board will corrode enough to fail completely.

Check the base of your antenna connection at the mounting bracket, they get VERY corroded from the elements. Could be whenever the antenna is moving you have a problem.
