I am thinking of buying a Voice II for my '05 LT but the $250 per helmet headset is putting me off expecially since I switch back and forth between my flip and open face and would need a total of three and possibly four headsets if my wife wants one if both also.

The nice lady at Sierra told me about the IMC headset and in her opinion they work great with the Voice II. Has anyone used these? Here is a link.

Checking if the IMC headsets work

I know this is an old post, but I'm curious if the IMC headsets workout for anybody. At 65 bucks including the lower 6 pin cable it's very affordable. I have an 06 K12LT (just got it) with the factory comm system and would like to try these headsets.

I bought the imc last feb at the chicago mc show.they work well and the price is right.mine did fail in august on a trip to maine.it failed where the cord goes in the helmet.my mike went out. not wanting to be without it i stopped at whitehorse gear in new hampshire and bought replacement.they have good prices and where very helpful.you might want to check thier prices.when i got home i called the company they said send broken unit and we will send new one.recieved new in 2 weeks.satisfactory outcome for me.

FWIW - You might want to consider getting a Baehr comm system instead of the Voice II. It comes with two sets of headsets. I have the Voice II in my '07 which I find to be adequate but not of the same quality or as dependable as the Baehrs that my riding buddies use.
