Video : Adding Skeene Brake Flasher to my '23 RT

Added Skeene brake modulator to my '23 RT. I wanted to increase the visibility while braking. Now I have it wired so my top-case light now also works as a running light (In stock trim it only works as a brake light). I also added a tag light above the TFT, so I can see what the brake lights are doing, it also makes it easier to flash people coming up from behind.

Put them on my 2015 right after I took delivery. Have worked perfectly for almost 7 years. They definitely get drivers attention. Seems like that red flashing light you put on the dash would be annoying? Is there a purpose for it ?

I use the tag light so I can see what the brake light is doing, and I can flash drivers when I'm slowing or at a stop to wake them up. I've used the tag light on all of my bikes and I'm used to it. It's especially helpful when programming the Skeene modulator.

Your 1st and 3rd product links don't work. You might want to fix those, I was interested in the products you chose.
Do the guys coming up behind you have to pull on the string to activate your tag light? o_O jk - clever use.
Thanks, they should work now. My wife uses the rope to slow me down, from the back.

I forgot to mention that there's no need to mess with the CAN bus, as LEDs pull low current, FYI.

Steve
Far less expensive than the denali set up I got that only works with the canbus.
Nice work
FWIW and in case anyone is interested in additional info, I installed Skene's Photon Blaster Turn Signals on my then-month-old C 400 GT -- which is also a CANbus bike -- last July. This is the product ...

... and my installation work in my gallery (pics, captions, and my video) of this farkle starts with this image:

I tapped into the stock rear wiring loom of the scooter without incident. While the wiring colors of my C 400 GT likely differ from an RT's, Skene lists corresponding colors at P3 Make Model Wiring Table, and general instructions at P3 Installation - IQ-260 series

Incidentally, I have also purchased Photon Boosters for the front of my bike ...

... and plan on installing them in a month or two, when things warm up in my neck of the woods.

I added the Admore lights to my 21 R1250RT They are user adjustable using a Bluetooth app and have a G chip to activate the lights when you are decelerating but not using brakes to do so.

I had to turn my decelerometer off as it was too sensitive and going off with downshifts, or closing the throttle too fast.
