Hi,

I am planning on travelling to the North East Of England via the Tunnel on Saturday.

I have heard that there fuel shortages, and 3 hour queues etc etc (I have also heard the end of the world is coming!)

My main question is are there really fuel shortages, and if so how long must you wait for fuel? I cannot really wait 3 hours at each fuel stop on the way up. I would meet myself coming back!

I will be travelling M20 - M25 - M1/A1(M) - Scarborough way.

Thanks for any kind info you can give me.

Best regards

Thanks for the replies.

It was a bit of a concern to think I would have to persuade my daughter to push the RT to the petrol station!

Re simoncharles.

I am slightly to the right of Genghis Khan so I really appreciate & agree with you. I think while ACAS talks are going on, any strike is just posturing, and should be dealt with harshly! Only when talks have failed might there be an argument for industrial action. I still remember the Winter of Discontent and how "sorry" the unions were for stopping the power stations. Ok I'll climb off the soap-box now!

Thanks again for the info
Adam
