We regret to inform you that Two Wheels Only will cease operation on
March 15th 2011
We'd like to thank all of you who supported this establishment and the
local community for the last 29 years. It's been a fun ride!
Unfortunately the inheritors of the property that Two Wheels Only sits
on would not renew the ground lease, do a month to month rent until
they sold their property, or sell us the separate parcel of land that
the resort is on.
We'll keep you updated on what's happening.

Apparently, the "inheritors" don't like motorcycles if they wouldn't even rent to TWO until the property sold. Sad, sad day. I have enjoyed taking family and other visitors to TWO over the years. My first trip there was with my brother on Memorial Day 1985 on my then-new VF700S Sabre. We rode up from Charleston, SC and camping by the stream that night will always be a fond (fun) memory.
These type of places are to few anyway and now we lose this... Sad.

Actually I was told that parcel which two sits on could be sold separately, but someone had made a informal offer on the whole parcel, it is a prime piece of land the price was stupid crazy for the whole thing, I bet a dollar the deal does not go through and like other pieces up there it will be on the market a long time. I was told the selling price a while back, you would laugh

it happens quite often up there, family land for several generations or longer gets left to kids, they see the few mil some Realtor told them they can get, and the land sits and waits for years waiting for that "special" buyer, the gas station on the corner by two, worth about 300k and asking was right at a million for years! that whole area is a ghost town in the winter, and the only going on in the summer is a few bikes and a few car clubs.

someone is building a new MC campground just north of two on 60 though..........
