Hello
I have to get from Lansing, MI (actually Mt Pleasant, MI, a bit further north) to Toronto, ON and have two days to do it. I have done the Detroit-Sarnia-London-Toronto 402/401 route before and would prefer to miss it.
I am thinking of running north to Sault St Marie, then:
17E
129N
101N to Timmins
.....and then coming down either of...
11S thru North Bay or
144S thru Sudbury.
I have done the run across from Ottawa, thru North Bay and Sudbury to SSM last year so I was just trying to spice up the trip a bit and cover a bit more country. Total trip is about 950 miles, so over 2 days it should be pretty straightforward.
So, my questions:
1. Which is the better route back from Timmins in the north...11 or 144?
2. Any other suggestions on routing? I am happy to do up to 1500 over the two days, as I want to be fresh on Monday morning.
