Busted! the extended star warranty is looking like it was a great decision!.

not completely busted, but cracked on the upper left corner.

Yup, I have a cracked corner also...

You might want to suggest to your Ins Co., that they allow you to fix the latch for LESS money than the $795 cost of a new lower trunk.
