Just back from Mississippi
I went to MS 5-day trip. I was surprised and enjoyed. First I did not think I could get my wife to ride that far but it was her suggestion to visit my in-laws. So we did 300mile days and according to her that's about her limit. OK I enjoyed the sights, the road and overall how the LT handled its new passenger. Here it is in a nut shell:
Chicago - St Louis
St Louis - Southeaven
Southeaven - Clarksdale - Greenville
and then the reverse to get back home.
Saturday evening only we rode around in a car to downtown Memphis, Beale Street, Peabody Hotel and the sport complexes. Monday after a night of rain and hail and wind we rode back through Memphis on the way out. Great trip.

Yes my first trip of the year. And my wife of 30+ years is by no means a new bride or at riding. It's just that in our later years when I got this bike she told me I would have to go it alone. So I was delighted at the same time surprised when she showed the initiative. I took a couple pictures at the riverfront but don't really have any turn of the century ones to compare the bridges with. I can't be expecting you to help me with my home work but I have been looking. I-40 at that point is the Lorenzo De Soto bridge and down river is a train bridge. Both are modern built so can't really use for 'Then & Now' I will still attach. I took a look at your latest additions great!
