Anyone have a suggestion or recommendation for a luggage rack? My top case for my 2011 R1200RT needs a luggage rack and I am drawing blanks here. Any suggestion is welcomed.

check BMR Products, they have a shelf that will fit.

It seems that a lot of people also use the Harley rack. I have one and at some point I'll get the nerve up to start drilling into the ridiculously expensive topcase to mount the thing.
Did you try searching this site? There have been numerous discussions on this subject before.
I've looked at both the Wunderlich and the BMR. Some say you have to drill two holes at an angle with the Wunderlich to get the bolts to line up properly. Haven't seen any discussion of the BMR product...but I have their shelf that fits over the passenger seat and it mounted flawlessly. I like the looks of the Wunderlich better when it's just sitting there...but the BMR is a strong unit and merits consideration.

Here's a couple of photos of my Hepco and Baler rack installed. I had to fabricate "stands" out of small diameter tube steel to get the height to miss the trunk backrest. With the right length bolts there is no problem with helmet interference in the trunk.

Overall, it's the right color for the black trunk and I've been very pleased. I usually carry an Ortlieb dry bag on the rack with raingear and a couple pair of street shoes on overnight and longer trips two up.
