Don't put stuff inside your tires that could plug or change the sensor for your monitor. And, the rubber plugs of the plug type tire repair kits are cut by the wire ends of the steel belt in tires. Use the kits that have the string stuff. Here is one type. I generally get the Monkey Grip brand at K mart, the tool handles are smaller. There are several brands though.
