I have a 2002 LT with ME 880 tires. I run 42 psi in the front and 48 psi in the rear. Is the the correct amount of air?

That is what I run and it seems to work well. The ride is a little rougher than with the BMW recommended pressures, but the cupping is lessened on the front. I will run the max of 50 in the rear when riding two-up and loaded in hot weather.
