I just noticed a small leak from the timing cover. How hard is it to take off and how long would it take to fix? What has to be taken off to get to it?

Do you mean the timing cover on the front of the engine or the valve cover on the side?


Valve cover is what I described in that post#5 even though we called it the timing cover (his words). The real timing cover is a bit harder to do and has a ton of screws as well as wiring for the oil pressure and water temp senders and the hall effect timing device to pull just to get the cover off to clean the mating surface for new sealant.
