Picking up my new 2012 Blue K1600GTL tomorrow after putting down a deposit last year in April. Spoke with me dealer today and they are installing the engine guards, top case brake light, NavIV, and 3M paint protection kit today. Have purchased the peg lowering kit, Kathy's bag liners, horn, RKA tank bag in blue, Powerlet accessory plugs that I will install when I get it home.
Weather is suppose to be 15 to 20 C this weekend, (around 50 to 65F). :D

Congratulations- and post the pics!
I would imagine the last day of wait might be more anxious than the year of wait. Congratulations :)
Congratulations, Randy. You'll be pleased to know that you have the fastest and best-looking color!

Unsolicited advice...concentrate on riding the new bike and forget about all of the gadgets for a while. Most of us experienced a degree of head explosion at first. Play with all of the stuff in the garage and introduce it in small chunks while actually riding...it's easy to get distracted. One of the guys actually rear-ended a car less than 24 hours after getting his bike because he was messing with the menus and got distracted. Just my $.02.

Congratulations Randy, that is quite a bike!

Glad to see that you are doing well... If you ever take a European trip, stop by. The riding is great. I am about to go on a 200 km roundtrip along the Danube to have lunch in Slovakia. Regards from Budapest

Some pictures of the new ride with a few of the options installed. BMW engine guards, top case brake light, peg lowering kit, Airhawk seat, BMW top case bag liner and added lower passenger back rest.

Wolfgang good to hear you made it to Europe. Will definitely come visit if we get over there.

Put on 500KM the last couple of days, what a ride :D

Nice bike.
In some shots it looks black/grey and midnight blue/grey. I agree about gadgetry I have the LT 2 years now and still have not explored her fully. And it has less frills than the GTL. One thing for sure there is that big wide :D on both your posts enjoy.
ride safe :bmw:
BEAUTIFUL!!! Congrats to ya.
