a friend who works at the VA sent me the link as she just approved the bike for a wheel chair bound soldier.

Since it was a BMW I knew he was getting the best

By the angle of the front end, it looks like it should turn easy.:wave I wonder how the clutch/ shift thing & the brakes work ?
I saw one of these a couple motorcycle shows ago.
Make that 2010 in chicago. Though it was not identical it was designed for a similar job. As I remember it was not as sleek, taller with a cover. BMW was the bike of choice. The developer/designer said the controls were a twin/clone in the cockpit of the actual bars and I don't remember the rest for gear selector and foot brake. LT was heavy on my mind back then. This is a giant leap in just 2 seasons. Did anyone else see that.
ride safe :bmw:
I am glad to see that inventive people are out there finding ways to make people not have to give up their passions just because their bodies may not cooperate. Being in a wheelchair sucks, I did some ADA training a while back and you see just how steep those gradual incline ramps are and how hard it is to move around doing everyday things we take for granted.
