I got my new System 7 Helmet Carbon in Silver.


I've been thinking about the communicator to use.
the BMW communicator is very, very expensive. I think something like $680.

I have two BMW helmets with the 20087 comm system, I could pry it from... dunno, That's BT 2.0


I like Sena. But not married to them.
What would fit?
I saw the Sena 10R. Seems good, but the battery goes in the back lip of the helmet.
This helmet as a very distinct shape. Don't think it'll fit.

I hope are still well, how would you rate your system 7? I am looking at a schuberth C3 Pro but I cannot find many reviews on the S7

I like it. Good quality.
Got really nothing bad to say.
The only gripe I have got nothing to do with the helmet itself but with my head shape.
I think Schuberths are made for long oval beads. Mine is more like an intermediate oval.
Shoeis seem to be tailor made for me.
My head is about 62 cm. So, a Shoei XL is perfect.
I bought a S6 in size XL (61/62). It was unbearable. It’d press the underside of my jaw, by my salivary glands and cause me an immediate headache. Tried to brave it, but I couldn’t.
The S7 is XXL 62/63. It still presses my jaw but not unbearably so.

It looks impressive and very pro. I love it.
But Shoeis for me are the best fit.

Regarding the communicator, I fit the Sena SC10U to the System 6.
It fit mostly okay, the only thing that didn't quite fit was the buttons themselves, but usable.
Everything else fit just fine. This is a Schuberth after all.

For my System 7 I didn't fit a communicator.
Found out that I don't miss it after all.
