hello to all,

I'm currently using the Garmin navIII on my 2008 K1200lt but now i want to install my Zumo 550 unit but i don't know were to find the proper mount for the 550.

Is there any BMW part for the zumo 550 mount or should i look elsewhere?

i tried the gpscity.com with no luck.

You can use the 550 cradle and attach it to a PanaVise mount. Attach a ball plate to the factory GPS mount base on the stingray and attach the PanaVise to that as well.

If you have a BMR CoPilot shelf, you can mount a ball-stud to it and mount the rest of the PanaVise to that. This is my current install and I prefer it over the first one I described because it keeps the GPS closer to my line of sight.

If you have the Nav III mount it should have the same 4 bolt pattern that all Garmin mounts do (I believe). Not sure on the 550, but my Zumo 660 cradle was able to bolt right up to the same basic mount that my 2730 cradle used.
