I have 2003 K12GT that tipped over. The tall windscreen caught a parked car on the way down. The windscreen is bent inward on the right side. It looks like the right-side arm that adjusts the screen position pushed in. Do you have suggestions to straighten it out? Thanks DG

Hey DG, sorry to hear about your troubles.

This is the forum for the newer Slant/4 GT bikes, which have a different windscreen mechanism.

You might have better luck in the Other K-Bikes Discussion forum, or the K1200RS/GT (Classic) forum at K-bikes.com, where they know a little more about the Flying Brick RS/GT bikes.

Good luck.

I think that a hair dryer blown on the windshield until warm woudl be a start. Stick it in a home made frame and bend it back slowly. Leave in position until the windshield cools down.

Am guessing, but my windshield is also bent and this is the procedure I plan to use.
