A Canada guy over on the Advrider forum had the dealer tech diagnose the "classic" non-starting problem with his '19 GSA as a bad starter relay. Apparently it was dropping the voltage to the starter to 4 volts. A replacement relay from Max BMW is a hundred bucks (sounds like a Harley part). I read that on the older Boxer models the starter relay was under the tank behind the ECU. Anyone know about the location on a '20 RT?

A lot of BMW motorcycle starter relays have a circuit board so the starter won't crank if the voltage is low to protect the relay & the wiring hence the higher cost.
