So I spent the day stripping her down. First I replaced the welded starter relay with the factory replacement/improvement.then I changed out the brake lines for Spieglers. Now I need to push fluid thru, and get her dressed again.

The 200LT is easy to bleed. You should be back up and running in no time.

Edit:

If you don't have a spare bleed screw, take the rear off and use it to bleed the clutch first and then the front since your lines are already empty. That special fitting on the clutch and front right require one and the rear is a good choice. Just do that one last.

The 200LT is easy to bleed. You should be back up and running in no time.

Edit:

If you don't have a spare bleed screw, take the rear off and use it to bleed the clutch first and then the front since your lines are already empty. That special fitting on the clutch and front right require one and the rear is a good choice. Just do that one last.
Or take the rear bleeder to your local auto parts store & get speed bleeders to match the thread pitch and replace all (not the clutch just use one of the new bleeders then reinstall the stock one) of the brake bleeders.

They may be generally good but I have read too many threads where people start having leaks from their speed bleeders and can't get them to stop.

For me, the job is easy enough to not add another level of simplicity to complicate things ;)

+1. Invest a few bucks in a speed bleeder bag. Hang it on a step ladder with rubber jaw clamps at an elevation slightly above the bleeder. Works great and keeps it simple.

Although after spending 6+ hours bleeding my I-ABS system after my Spieglers installation, if I ever have to do a bleed again, I will invest in a pneumatic bleeder! Or maybe a pressure bleeder. What a pain that was. At least the routine flushing is pretty easy...

Did the Speigler change on my 2000 LT and then used a Sears pneumatic bleeder.....I over did it making sure all bad fluid was out but afterwards, brakes were tight and had no mushy feeling.....Used German brake fluid (Pentosin Dot 4 LV) from Pep Boys....Comes in a liter can....if used 80% with my bleed.....Never a problem....just remember not to run the cup dry....keep checking the reservoir

Progress report.

I took out the front speedfill, bought four new M10 bleeder screws and installed them.
I pulled air from the rear ABS circuit and pulled air from the rear fluid Calipers
I pushed fluid from the front ABS ciruit and the front calipers
The front I feel very confident. I like pushing brake fluid.

The rear I am not so sure about. Will let it sit overnight and try a fluid push on the rear. I guess I won't know until I have it all together and take her for a ride.

The rear an be a pain as the MC is oriented to trap air on a push. I always have trouble and find a normal pump from the reservoir always works best.
