Have always carried a can of Slime around just in case of a flat tire. However, I have never had Tire Pressure Monitoring before either. What do you suppose would happen to the TPM if it got "Slimed"? Could it be cleaned up? Would it be ruined forever?

Good that you are thinking about this. I have "heard" it is not a good combination. No first hand knowledge though. Sure makes a mess inside though. Not much more room and you can carry a plug kit and a cheap mini compressor from K mart. Put a BMW plug on it, keep polarity proper.

Note the comment on steel belted. Regular rubber plugs are cut by the ends of the steel belt in the puncture zone. This rope will last. Then you can buy an air compressor from 10 bucks at WalMart to 100 at Aerostitch and several in between. I have CO2 cylinders but you need a lot of the small ones and at least 2 of the very large ones. Compressor is pretty nice. No worries. Idle the bike when using the compressor, runs twice as fast. (and opens the computer controlled power socket!)
