Don't bother with just one. Do the whole job and be satisfied with the results.

Do Both!

Both! With Ohlins at around your mileage and it made a tremendous difference in the ride as well as just the height. It was getting harder and harder to get the Bike up on the center stand till I changed the shocks. First time with the new shocks and she almost lept onto the stand! I also found myself back to the tippy toe or balls of my feet stage on the Bike, which had slowly sunken to flat footing with the old shocks!

Well worth whatever the price in my opinion.

I waited until 83K, but my stock shocks were toast way before then. I was concerned about the cost, but I should have just changed them out much earlier.

Both at about 52K. Thought the old shocks were just fine. Found out that the front was spraying oil and the rear was just plain worn out. Well worth it.

Both, it made a world of difference at 37K. Much easier to get it on the center stand, and Cindy and I don't scrape the center stand as much, and we feel much more stable. We hadn't noticed how bad the original shock had become until we replaced them.

Replaced mine with Ohlins at 19k. One thing I noticed is it sits higher and doesn't compress in turns so no more dragging. Stiffer ride no dragging over speed bumps. I was able to put the peg lowering kit back on and still no scrape...so far.

Ohlin Shocks

Replaced the LT rear shocks with Ohlin's at around 50K.
Just replaced the front with Ohlin's at 76.5K.
Also, replaced the clutch, transmission seals, and rear tire.
Rode over 350 miles on Saturday and Sunday.

Steering is light and tight.
Track line is true and steady, regardless of speed.
Especially like the additional clearance at speed, leaned over in the turns.
Not scraping the side and center stands.
Already replaced one of each.
No head shake with lock to lock 360 degree low speed circles and figure-eights.

Much better than standard shocks.
Should have changed them much earlier.
