I have a friend who has a '04 R1150 RT. He wants to fit a Showa model B0272 shock off an '02 R RT onto his bike. He has to transfer parts of the pre-load from his old shock to the one off the '02. Can anyone tell him how to remove the preload spring from the Showa shock.
