The other day I was watching tv and the show was demonstrating how they build custom built seats for race cars using a bunch of beads in a plastic bag. They poor in the catalyst and then lay it in the seat frame then the driver gets in and squirms around making the seat fit to their body. Then they use a vacuum and suck out the air. The seat sets up and it is good to go. So I was thinking. Why cannot this same system be used to make a hard exact copy of your own seat then cut out some of the seat foam insert the butt replica and then cover with different layers and density foams to make a custom motorcycle seat that should be good to go or may require a little cutting here and there. See attached link to the product. Any comments?

Interesting concept that just might work,
I've got an old metal tractor seat that I've put on top of a wheel platform from an old office chair,
I use it as my "mobile shop chair"
even with no padding it is by far the most comfortable seat
because it fits my ass so well.
I've occasionally entertained the thought of using it as a 'mold" to make a motorcycle seat.
I'm real curious what the finished product would feel like,
just not willing to gamble $$$ and not sure how much you'd need for a MC seat?
(depends on the size of your ass I guess) :)
