I have that helmet, too. The only thing that bothers me is it's weight. Looking at the chart on WebBikeWorld, I noticed that it's one of the heavier modular/flip-ups. I still use it around town and short trips and I like that it comes in Hi-Viz!

I use the same helmet and love it. Although I got a medium first and realized I need a large. Go a size up anyone considering to buy one. I did the measurements and still had to return and get a larger size. But I found that the medium was quieter.

Also got a SMH10 installed without any problems.

I've had a Shoei Neotec for about 30 days now. I realize it is a higher price point, but in my opinion Shoei has modular down to a science. Very worthy of consideration.

I agree. I've had the Shoei, Syncrotech, the Microtech and now the Neotech. I still prefer the full protection of a fixed chin bar when I'm going a bit quicker. Shoei really knows this helmet segment ...they have been doing it a long time. The Scorpian is a nice piece, but I found it noisy compared to the Shoei.

Here is a picture of how it did the install of the J&B head set to helmet. I did not want to attach it to the bottom like normally would, so I drilled out the holes in the removable panel for the Blue tooth install. Worked out great.

I had the EXO 900 which I found to be a good helmet for the price, apart from one big annoyance....................water would run down the inside of the visor when it rained.

+1. I still wear my Arai Corsair, fixed chin bar, even in the heat we have this time of year. I simply feel better knowing it is a solid rig. Also, my Scala fits just fine.

I use a Shark Evoline series 2 ST
I love the flexibility to be able rotate the chin bar to the back of the helmet and ride either in jet mode or full face on the fly.
Only helmet certified to ride in open or closed position that I know of. Also has a built in "top gun" style sun visor.
It is also pre-configured to install a com system
The only "drawback" is that it's a heavier helmet but it is so well balanced that you don't feel it even after 800km ride

I have THREE of them... so I guess you could say I like 'em! I haven't experienced any of the leak issues and i particularly like that they are both DOT and ECC approved. My biggest complaints would be the NEON fades VERY quickly... and I think they're a bit loud. They are the only flip up helmets I've ever used so that could be the issue I don't know. I know they are on the heavy side, but that hasn't been an issue for me. Overall I'd say a good helmet at a very fair price. BTW- some retailers will accept a lower offer... try it!
