I looked at past logs and did not see any posts about recommendations for or warnings against BMW dealers or BMW focused service providers in the San Francisco Bay Area (including South Bay)? I'm a new owner of a 2002 LT (works great & loving it!). My windshield stopped working. Fuse(s) are fine and other electrics on the circuit work. I suspect motor/connection. Service guides don't help with trouble shooting. Any recommendations on places good/bad in the area?

I welcome ideas re: the windshield.

Thanks!

Thank you. I'm in the San Jose area, so Cal BMW is off my list. Nice to know a +++ rated outfit.

Well, if anyone is watching/wondering the same as I was about a good South Bay Area service operation ( not necessarily a dealer), I think I found what others may already know- Ted Porter's Beemer Shop in Scott's Valley. Yelp and BMW Sport Touring Forum have 100% rave reviews. That's where I'm headed and will keep you posted. I don't have any financial benefit from them for this post. Just wanted to share with others what I'd like to have heard if you had the info.

Ted Porter's, BeemerShop
34 Janis Way, Suite E
Scotts Valley, CA 95066
