As most of you know, the "Ride 4 Kids" is a charitable ride that has been going-on for a about a decade. Though the Woodland Event is well established and attended, last year, Pleasanton, CA had their first event, and though o.k., it was not a complete success. We, on the Task Force, are trying to "amp-up" the attendance at the June 24th ride so it is not cancelled in the future. For you Sawdog members, this ride is in our backyard, and for some of our HDDC folks, it's a nice day ride!

Of all types of children's cancers, Pediatric Brain Tumors are the #1 killer. Though Leukemia used to be the #1 killer, recent strides and advances have relegated that horrible disease to #2. Over 70% of the victims are younger then 15 years, and of those 40% die within 5 years of diagnosis. I hope you'll jump on your two wheeler and be part of the "Ride 4 Kids" next June 24th in Pleasanton.

Ride 4 Kids

You can count on us. After the event last year in Woodland it is easy to see what a great cause this is and how easy and fun it will be to support the Bay Area ride this year.
