Spoke with Charlene this morning, she was at her home office and not in the lodge, so they should get back with you ASAP....

I don't have a list of the rented/non-rented rooms or bunk house...the 27 (thursday) shouldn't be problem at all, I do know that a few have requested the bunk house...I know of three in there thus far....for the 28/29 (fri/sat).

If you don't hear from them this weekend, get back with me.

Odd -- it should also have "Camp Mark Neblett," as I called a day or so ago and was told I was being put on the campsite list.

No matter -- I suspect campsites are about the only thing that's not in short supply :)

Any one else coming up on Thursday the 27th? I feel like taking an extra day off from work and getting some more riding in. Thinking about it anyway. See you all up there.

If you guys are rolling by 0-dark-thirty, then maybe we won't catch up with you. :( Oh well, we'll just have to have a good time in the mountains by ourselves. At least I'll have a pillion for this trip. :D

I see you haven't met Sue yet :)

Don't worry, we'll be around for a while.
Nope, but that will be rectified shortly. We could be a long time getting out of Atlanta too.

Nicolas,

I'll see you there Thursday night. Looks like we will have the run of the place. I'll take a back road route and make a day of the trip up. Beats the super slab.

With the trees going into full paint mode, I'm not sure I want to be on the Gap that weekend with the possibility of all the leaf peepers out. But then again, I'll see what Connie, aka On-board Photographer, wants to do. I'd love to ride the Gap with her on the back, but then again the Cherahola might be the best thing.

We'll see everybody Satidee!!

OK, I'm going to try to get out there Thursday afternoon. Do you still have that 76 GT750. As I recall the last of the big Suzuki 2 strokers. Came out with the GS line of 4 stroke engines in '77.

Yup I sure do. Rode it last Sunday. Can't believe I used to think it was a smooth bike. Compared to the LT it is a vibrating little toy that's not very stable. But I still think it is worth keeping stock. It gets an Antique plate next year.
