Should I just retorque when cold without breaking them loose . Then chris-cross set the wrench to proper torque intill it clicks once. I heard breaaking them free can cause more leakage problems on a bike with over 10,000 miles on it

I have always loosened all the nuts so the torquing can be done criss cross in 2 or 3 stages until the correct torque is achieved.

At 10,000 miles the engine is not broken in yet.
