Hi All,

I recently purchased a '97 K1100LT that is in storage until spring. I would like to get a jump on adding highway pegs, but don't know the O.D.
of the crash bar. I'd be interested in all recommendations of highway pegs for this size bar. I do like the Illium Works look of pegs, but they don't
explicitly have one for the K1100LT.

Have fun,
Jer

Hi Jerry,

I added some Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Highway Pegs with the 1" diameter mounting hole size. I installed them on the factory "crash bars". I like the Longhorns as
they are infinitely adjustable to your preference and are very well made. I actually lost the foot portion of the peg while driving to Wyoming a few years back, and
I was able to buy a replacement for the single left side directly from Kuryakyn.

Enjoy,
Stan

Hi San,

Thanks for the response. I picked up the "Dually" Kuryakyn pegs. Am enjoying them immensely. Well, my knee is anyway.
Having just sold a smaller bike that I couldn't get pegs to extend the legs, I opted for another bike. Really enjoying the
K1100LT over all. Nice to have the K12LT, too.

Have fun,
Jer
