I'm fairly new to SC, and will be needing service for my 07 RT in the near future. I'm located 2-3 hours away from all of the dealers listed in the state. Can anyone reccomend one?

It would be worth your while to visit the new BMW Motorcycle shop in Charlotte. It is one mile from the SC line on Westinghouse BLVD. Great people there.

a bit further up the road, Dave Selvig (saddleman) on this site, does a great job on Beemers and will do the job right, and for the right price.. I have no problems taking my bike to him if I have an issue.

I have only used the dealership in Greenville once for a warranty issue. No complaints.

Depending on where you are in the state, the dealership in Charlotte NC might be a good option for you. While you're there (on Saturdays) you can get a free meal and sit on the balcony, shoot some pool or watch the giant screen TV in the media room. :bmw:

Unfortunately, they just went up on their shop labor ...$112.00 per hour

+3 on Saddleman. Dave knows his stuff. He's meticulous and works on others' bikes as if they were his own.

+4 for Dave, and the guys at Sport Touring fixed a problem for me over night, ordered parts and gave me a loaner so I could make it to the BMW performance center for an adventure class..
