I now have 12500/k on the rear tire. Michelin Road pilot 2 (second set) and the front tire has very minimal wear. What should I go with next? PR3 or Back to a Metzeler/6
On the fence.....

Hi Risky, no recommendation, but just noting that Metzeler now has the Z8. Might be worth a look.

I have a set of PR3s to replace my second set of PR2s as soon as I can get a day free to do it.

Changing one tire at a time creates the situation that you never have the pleasure of two fresh tires and the handling that goes with it. One tire is always in some state of wear and the owner tries to get that last $ out of it. Generally going past the point that it should be replaced. I know when one tire comes due the other might not look too bad. Get over it and change both. SWmoto tire outfit ships two tires for free. That might help. And get together with a friend and buy a tire machine. That will really help. ;)

After doing a lot of searching, I ordered this set of Pirelli Diablo front and back.

I could not pass up on the price. All ways wanted to try Perelli"s
