The Bridgestone on the rear of my LT is wearing off center. The right side is fine but the left side is cupping. Never saw one wear like this. I'm assuming it's just the tire. The last one seem to wear even but it did cup a little. This ever happen to you?.......

The left side will always show the wear pattern first. Opinions vary as to why but where they ride on the left side of the road the wear pattern always shows up on the right side instead. My opinion is that it has to do with road crown and the fact that a left turn is normally longer than a right turn. It's normal.

I agree Dean, the reverse happens here in Australia. Right side of the tyres (tires) cups or wears more than the left. Many of our roads here in Tasmania are the narrower "B" roads where crowning is quite pronounced. You can almost "feel" the wear happening at times. We scrape the pegs easier on the RH bends, you guys scrape 'em easier to the left.

But that is the OPPOSITE of what's happening to my tire. I've worn out several rear tires on my LT and other bikes and here in the flatlands they wear flat in the center before the sides will go. But this tire is wearing flat to the RIGHT of center. It's like one side of the tire is bigger around than the other. Does that make sense?.........

The right side is fine but the left side is cupping. I'm confused by your original statement then, sorry. Cupping is normally associated with incorrect inflation pressures on these bikes. Normal wear, be it left or right of centre is purely a function of contact with the road at that point. Left vs Right is a corner or raod camber thing.

If you ride in a straight line and never lean, the tire will wear smooth in the center. Because you lean more in the left turns and they are longer, this scrubs the left side of the smooth strip in the center of the tire and it then appears that the center wear mark moves to the right as you are grinding off the left edge of it. Normal as far as I know. Probably just looks a little different because of the tread pattern.
