Just curious if other 1200lt's do this.

When cruising even 60 on a smooth warm/hot day if I let off the throttle quick the rear tire will squeal.

Does it downshifting a lot..for sure if I lightly touch the rear brake while doing it.

Just wondering if I have to much play somewhere.

2000 lt with 75k for miles.
Have no idea if anything has ever been done to it.
Runs like a champ!
FD oil was fine when I changed it..no fuzzy's to speak of.
Tranny fluid looked fine also.

mine does not do that unless hard breaking over bumps just before the abs kicks in. What tire are you using?
The Metz 880.

It does not do it all the time..mostly hot smooth roads.
I'm not really worried about it.
My Voyager used to do it in the right conditions.

Maybe you are a little quick at releasing the clutch, I know that you want to minimize the amount of clutch slippage but some is necessary for smooth riding.

Gerhard
I'm talking about just ridding down the road at 60 or so and letting off the gas.
Sometimes the rear tire will sequel ..I might have some excess play some where in the drive line.
Trust me..I can shift this thing..with or without the clutch..lol.

Nope it rolls free when the rear is in the air on center stand.
I'm going to see how far it turns back and forth on the center stand in low gear sometime.

Ok..
I put a mark on the tire at 6:00 and a tape on the floor then rolled it back and forth a few times.
It will move about 3" before stopping.
Prolly nobody else will try it..lol.
It's probably fine.
