My left rear speaker is not working. I did have a problem with the radio once before and I did the disconnect the battery trick, it worked. Now my left speaker cut out. I took it off and tried it on the right side and it worked. I checked to make sure the connections were tight. Do you think it is a channel out on the radio or just a loose connection at the stingray? What do I have to remove to get to the actual radio connections? I have never taken the tupperware off. Is my first time coming?

I just had my radio replaced under warranty for this. I could hear a small pop sound out of the speaker when I turned the radio on/off. This was confirmation that the wiring was good.

I don't hear anything out of it. I need to see if this is covered by my extended warranty.

My right rear channel is bad. I checked all the connections and concluded it was something in that channels output amplifier. It would cost to much to get fixed and most of the time I listen through the helmet speakers anyway, so I just live with it.

Oh yes. Even if just for the experience. It's not so frightening the next time.
Took the clothes off mine again today. You know I have had her clothes off so many times, I'm surprised I haven't had to marry her :rotf:

Decided to fit the Minidisc changer and interface today, but sadly ran out of time so had to bring a van home instead.

YOUR PROBLEM...

Take the stingray partway off and check out the three connectors on the upper left. I found the middle one needed careful squeezing up, taking three tries before it was reliable. You need to get a finger or two behind it to bear against.

Yeah, I know I need to just set aside the time to do it. That way if I have to, it won't be so bad. But I ride everyday and my wife crams my weekends full. I'm sure no one else has this problem :)
