Have noticed a light film of oil on the bottom of the rear shock. It doesn't seem to be comming from the shock, cleaned it off and it is there again. Have reoiled the preloader, that made a big difference. If the oil is not from the shock, where could it be from?

I do not have the manual preloader - did not know it needed maintenance. What difference did reoiling it make? On the ESA model, the electric motor adjusts the hydraulic preload adjuster, so that is a potential source of leaks. And of course, the shock itself may be leaking.

Have you checked the rear brake fluid reservoir for leaks?

Clean everything very well with some spray solvent of some type. Then apply some spray foot powder to suspected areas. The powder will show small oil leaks just as they start.
