Lifted my riders seat up to check water level in expansion bottle and i noticed the the two rubber stops in the rear seat look like they are starting to split where the mechanism for the adjustment of the seat sits .
The base of the passenger seat looks like the mechanism is starting to cause some damage .
Is anybody else having this problem and is it a warranty issue .

seat rubbers

My dealer checked it, and then changed the rubbers under warranty .
He told me not to slam the seat shut to hard as this might damage the rubbers .

mine changed out BOTH seats, and the new ones are made markedly different that the first set. looks like a completely different manufacturer. The new ones actually sit higher than the older ones, and the front is wider, and the back is a touch longer. I did check to make sure that they were the correct part #'s, and they matched up as the '05 std seat (F&R)

The replacement rubbers that were replaced last year are starting to split , so i rang my dealer and i asked him if anybody else has complained and he said no .
Those bits of rubber are too soft and split very easy.
Has the seat been changed on the 06 and 07 models
