Where the heck is the rear brake fluid res??? 2003 K12LT. Under the seat? No info in the owners manuals. It just mentions the front. The bottle under the seat has no MAX/MIN marks.

You got it, if you removed the passenger seat-you can see it on the right side, tucked under the frame. To really get to it, you should remove the rear tupperware. Fill it to the brim. You'll see two lines-one for each compartment-the front and the rear.

If you open the side case there is a little clear window. Take a flashlight, look through the window and you can check the fluid level.

Re: the max and min marks- the entire resevoir will turn when you take the cap on and off and the max and min marks end up around back sometimes.

Check this thread for more info and pics of the rear brake reservoir. Specifically, look at post #10.

This is true for the '99-'01 LT's, using the single, round rear brake fluid reservoir.

The '02 and up LT's have Integral (power assisted) ABS, which uses two separate circuits for each wheel, and thus has two separate chambers in the rear brake fluid reservoir.

I've found it handy to locate the Min/Max marks on the reservoirs, and to highlight them with a black sharpie marker.
